    Chairman

    Sabine Keukenbring

Has been active in trade and industry, in particular in the hospitality sector. Independent entrepreneur in the small hotel business in France. Committees and trainings at hockeyclub, chairman Koninklijke Horeca (Royal Hotel and Catering Industry) Section The Hague, and now Canilos Animal Foundation.

I love all animals, and my heart breaks when animals are living an animal-unworthy existence.. With Canilos we can make a difference!

  • Secretary

    Secretary

    Agnes Reeuwijk

I have been working in (mental) healthcare organisations as a manager and executive secretary.

I am a big fan of Greece and visit the Greece Islands or the mainland at least once a year. While travelling in Greece I often come across dogs living in very poor conditions. I hope that I can make a contribution to improve their circumstances through my commitment to Canilos!

  • 2nd Secretary: organization and communication

    2nd Secretary: organization and communication

    Wim Markerink

Wim has been active in education management. Thereafter he has set up his own company as an organization and communication consultant. In that capacity he has advised several foundations. As a Board Member he considers a number of key concepts as crucial: Reliability as in do what you say and say what you do. Interconnection, because when people feel connected, they will be able to get the best out of themselves.

My involvement with everything that is going on on this planet is extensive. Whether it is about people or about animals, I am happy to contribute as much as possible. Injustice personally touches me.

  • Board member

    Board member

    Paula van Loo

Formerly active in business and the social sector.

Initiator and co-founder of a stage group, cabaret group, local broadcasting company, Canilos Animal Foundation and Canilos SnuffelWinkel (Thrift Shop).

I am now working “boundlessly” to improve the dismal living conditions of barrel dogs.
On May 1st 2018, after 6 years, I retired from my volunteer function as managing director of the Thrift Shop. The job has been taken over by Betty van den Berg. Since then I am mainly engaging in general management matters.

  • Board member

    Board member

    Maria Kolthof

My background is in social services. For Canilos I maintain a.o. the contacts with many animal friends on Lesbos.

In the course of time, during my visits to Greece, I encountered many barrel dogs and stray animal suffering. That is why I decided to join Canilos, thereby actively contributing to a better existence for these forgotten dogs.
